Gala concert 2012

Grenland International Brass Festival is very proud to once again present the fabulous Mnozil Brass for this years gala concert.

MNOZIL BRASS - from Austria. The band was founded in 1992 by students from the Vienna College of Music. They met at Mnozil pub, and began to play together. Today they are well known for their distinctive style, in which music is conveyed in a humorous way. Austrian and German schlager music is often on the repertoire, but the group also plays contemporary music, jazz and their own versions of familiar pop songs. Mnozil Brass visited the festival in 2010, and a loaded Ibsenhuset in Skien was at the breaking point several times! It is a great pleasure to once again present this group for our gala concert!
